Hello all! Just a quick word to inform you of some interesting developments. Of course, you already know about our first annual meeting. We're also having a dinner at the 50th St Caboose. As some of you know, we've been trying to establish a secular AA group for non-believers who need assistance with substance abuse issues. We have an experienced volunteer to lead it, and can provide support as needed. Now it seems the FFRF has gotten a bill to the Senate authorizing release of funds to secular organizations for fact based treatment programs. We would like to provide this service either way, but may soon have help shouldering that burden. I'll keep you apprised of new developments. Remember, all we can do is better.
