Atheists of Lubbock approached to provide Support Services

Updated: Feb 4, 2019

The Atheist Community of Lubbock is proud to announce that we will now be providing Support Services to those in the community who prefer secular services when crisis strikes.

When tragedy occurs, it's incredibly valuable to have a system of support already in place to guide a person through the many emotions involved with difficult times.

UMC Hospital in Lubbock, Texas will now be able to make the call to the Atheist community of Lubbock when secular grief counseling is needed in those times. We have the unique and extreme honor of being able to change someone's ability to cope, who didn't otherwise have a non secular option.

This new project will allow the Atheist Community of Lubbock to, once again, spark a positive and hopeful change in the community. To learn more about this project, please visit the information page on our website!
